The important thing to consider in the design of the Canadian stamp program was to make it something that everyone can accept in Canada, where many different races live. Therefore, I avoided designs that favored a particular culture and chose the theme of Canada’s natural beauty. I looked up iconic animals in Canada on the WWF website and used them for stamps.

I thought it would be boring to just draw animals in a normal way. There is a church on the road I pass by every day to go to college. There was a small stained glass window in the church. I was inspired by the stained glass and decided to design the stamp in a stained glass style.
